Homer Vawter

Homer Granville Vawter was Mayor of Jeffersonville, Indiana from 1939 to 1942. He was born in Tipton County, Indiana on May 28, 1894 to Samuel M. Vawter and Sara M. Vawter. Homers father was born in Stokes County, NC and his mother in Indiana. They settled in Tipton County, Indiana. His parents are buried in Tipton County at the Fairview Cemetery.
